Science Fair Sign Up
Calling all budding scientists! Sign up by April 8 to show off your scientific insights and share your findings.
Wednesday, April 15, 3:00pm – 4:30pm
Blythe Park School Gymnasium
- Students will conduct their own scientific experiment and create their display boards at home (a foam or cardboard tri-fold display board is recommended, and can be purchased at many local stores).
- Students may work individually or in a group of no more than two students.
- Each student will display their project on a table in a designated area in the gym.
- Guest scientists will be walking around during the event to visit each table and will provide written feedback to students. Students should be prepared to present their findings.
- Student scientists will receive a participation award.
- Third through fifth graders have the option to attend brainstorming workshops. Interested students will have their creativity sparked, be guided through the scientific method, and have their project supported by Mrs. Allen and a parent volunteer. These optional workshops take place in the Blythe Park Library from 3pm-4pm on the following dates:
- Wednesday, March 18
- Tuesday, March 24 (date change!)
- Wednesday, April 8
- Sign up for the optional workshops by March 11
