The Blythe Park Student Council is holding a fundraiser to support Blythe Park’s Angel Fund as well as a Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
Blythe Park Angel Fund Fundraiser –
The Blythe Park Student Council is organizing a fundraiser for the Blythe Park Angel Fund. The Angel Fund provides school-related support for Blythe students in need.
During the school day on Tuesday, October 30th Blythe Park students will be able to purchase:
- A cup of apple cider and/or a small bag of candy corn.
- Each item will be priced at $1.00 (CASH ONLY)
- NOTE – Students will only be allowed to purchase one of each item. Students will not be allowed to call home to request money from parents/guardians.

Pumpkin Decorating (not carved) Contest –
Bring a decorated (not carved) pumpkin to school on Tuesday, October 30th.
*NOTE – Pumpkins need to be taken home by Oct. 31.
- This is an optional family activity.
- BE CREATIVE!
- HAVE FUN!
- Choose a pumpkin that your student can easily transport to and from school or make arrangements to help your student get their pumpkin to and from school.
The students at Blythe Park School will be voting for their favorite pumpkins based on the following categories:
*NOTE – This is not a pumpkin carving contest. Students are asked to design their creations using paint, beads, glitter, yarn or other materials that can be adhered to their pumpkin.
- Scariest
- Funniest/Silliest
- Most Creative
- Most Realistic (a famous person, animal, food, character)
- Overall Favorite Pumpkin

Sign-up for Kids Yoga – Session 2! Classes start on Wednesday, November 7th.

Kids Yoga
Stephanie Roldan from Blissful Owl will instruct Kids Yoga classes every Wednesday from 3:00-3:45pm in the Blythe Park Gym for boys and girls in Kindergarten – 5th Grade.

The Riverside Parks and Rec Winter Session: After School Programs at Blythe Park will begin the week of November 5th.
Classes will take place directly after school dismissal from 3-4pm.
NOTE: Registration deadline is 5 days prior to the class start date.

Blythe Park will celebrate Veterans Day with a special music program on Friday, November 9th at 10:00am in the auditorium. Parents/guardians are welcome to attend.
As part of the program each year, Blythe Park invites Veterans to be their special guests. If you know a Veteran, please invite them to attend.
*REMINDER: Also, remember to have your student dress patriotically in red, white and/or blue clothing.

Every year the PTA makes a handmade ornament for each Blythe Park student and staff member. Please sign up if you’d like to volunteer to help assemble this year’s ornaments.
No crafting experience required. Supplies and instructions will be provided by the PTA. Bring your holiday cheer!
