On October 12th, Cardio Kids fall session will begin for 2nd-5th Grade. Mr. Bartelt and Ms. Gorman will walk/run with the students Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:45-8:05 am. Make an effort to walk or ride your bike to school everyday this week during Walk/Bike to School Week. Each day we will be tracking all children that walk or ride their bikes to school and trying to beat the previous day’s total. Each student that walks or rides their bike will revceive a sticker that day.

Last call for Blythe Park spirit wear orders! All orders must be placed by Thursday, September 15th.
If you are new to Blythe Park School or have not purchased spirit wear in the past, please consider taking a look and making a purchase for either yourself or your student. Samples are on display outside the office. These clothing items make great gifts so please share the ordering information with your family and friends who may be looking for gift ideas for your children.

Treat your kid(s) to a hot lunch and treat yourself to a day off from packing lunches!
On Friday, September 23rd, Blythe Park PTA will be holding the first Hot Lunch Fundraiser for the year. The menu will include: slice of cheese pizza, seasonal fruit, cookie and a drink. The cost per child is $5.00. To register your child(ren) click on the CheddarUp button below.
You will be able to pay for the Hot Lunch Fundraiser on-line. If you would not like to use the on-line payment option, please send cash or check (payable to Blythe Park PTA) to the school office with your family name and “Hot Lunch” written on the envelope. Similar to last year, you will be able to pay for the entire year or single lunches.
PLEASE NOTE – all children must be registered by clicking on the Cheddar Up button below no matter what your payment method is going to be (cash, check or credit).

Reservation deadline is Wednesday, September 21st. This program is only for children that have the option of staying at school for lunch.

We hope you’re enjoying your KidStuff Coupon Book. The Books are $25 and you may order any of the 26 editions. On average, using 3-7 coupons saves you more than you paid for the book. The book contains over 800 coupons; with most of the coupons expiring between September-December 2017. Unpurchased books should be returned to school. CHOIR STARTS TODAY!
Does your 4th or 5th grade child enjoy singing? Have them join the District 96 Choir. The Choir meets on Tuesdays in the Central Music Room and is looking for members for the 2016-2017 school year. 5TH GRADE INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC ENROLLMENT THIS WEDNESDAY
