Cardio Kids fall session will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12th, for 2nd-5th Grade. Mr. Bartelt and Ms. Gorman will walk/run with the students Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:45-8:05 am. This Friday, October 14th is Blythe Park PTA’s annual Fall Fun Fair! Bring the whole family for a night of fun!
PLAY GAMES!
All games in both the gym and hallway can be played from 6:00-8:00pm. Fun Fair tickets are $.25 or 5/$1.00 and will be sold at the door.
ENJOY DINNER AND DESSERT AT THE FUN FAIR
Pizza and Taffy Apples will be available for purchase.
Pizza Parlor will open at 5:30pm
The Parlor’s menu will include Cheese or Pepperonni Pizza by the slice for $3.00, Salad $2.00, Lemonade and Water Bottles for $.50. The Pizza Parlor will be in the lunch room.
Taffy Apple Stand will open at 6:30pm
Come make your own taffy apples with all the toppings for $2.00 a half apple and $4.00 a full apple.
WIN A SWEET TREAT AT THE CAKE WALK!
Come play the cake walk in the auditorium from 6:00-8:00pm or until all the baked goods are won!

Volunteer spots are still available to help Kindergarten and 3rd Grade students during their library time. Volunteers for Kindergarten will have the opportunity to read to the students. Volunteers for 3rd grade will help students find books for check out and then have the opportunity to read to the students. Please click on the button below to sign-up.

Calling all Riverside students, Kindergarten through 5th Grade! It’s time to paint the Halloween art for display in the windows of local Riverside businesses!
Painting will take place on Saturday, October 22nd from 1-4pm at Riverside Parks and Rec, Water Tower. Bring your own paint and brushes. Paper will be supplied. Charge will be $1 at the door (please bring exact change). For additional details and to register, click on the following links.

Stephanie Roldan from Blissful Owl joins Cara Ross to bring Girls Yoga back to Blythe Park. Classes will be held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 3:00-3:45pm in the Blythe Park Gym for girls in Kindergarten-5th Grade.
Purchase one class at $10 per class or a punch card for the entire year of 15 classes and get one class free.
Please sign up by clicking on the Cheddar Up button below. Pay online or send cash/check to the school office with “Girls Yoga” on the envelope and child’s name. Please make checks payable to Blythe Park PTA. Weekly class reservation deadline is Tuesday.

Vinson Villena, owner of Flying V Athletic Center, is bringing Tae Kwon Do to Blythe Park. The class will be held EVERY Thursday from 3:00-3:45pm in the Blythe Park Gym for all students in Kindergarten – 5th Grade. Purchase one class, four class pass or ten class pass. Uniform (Dobuk) is optional. Purchase information will be handed out during class.

Blythe Park will hold its annual Fun Fair on Friday, October 14th from 5:30-8:00pm! Take a night off from cooking, join us for pizza and caramel apples and then play all the games after dinner.
