Turn in your completed Raging Waves Fitness Log by this Wednesday, April 12th.
Each student completing the program requirements between February 13th through April 10th will receive a FREE full day admission pass to Raging Waves, located in Yorkville.
STUDENTS: Keep track of your exercise by coloring one item on the fitness log for every 30 minutes you exercise. Complete 25 hours of exercise between February 13th – April 10th.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Print the log listed below and help track your child’s fitness, then sign the form and send it back to school or email to the School Coordinator, Vivian Robles at vivro1970@gmail.com by April 12th.

Blythe Park PTA is rolling out the red carpet to celebrate our teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week!
Teacher Appreciation Week will take place Monday, May 1st – Friday, May 5th. There will be several opportunities for parents and students to be involved (a volunteer signup sheet will be posted). The week will feature a special event and raffle for teachers and staff each day.
If you would like to make a monetary donation toward the week’s activities, click on the following Cheddar Up button or send cash/check to the school office with “ATTN: PTA/Karen Magee” on the envelope by Thursday, April 13th. (Please make checks payable to Blythe Park PTA.)

Library volunteers are needed to help Kindergarten and 3rd Grade students during their library time this week.
Volunteers for Kindergarten will have the opportunity to read to the students.

Cardio Kids begins this Wednesday.
Cardio Kids spring session will begin this Wednesday, April 12th for 2nd-5th Grade students. Ms. Gorman, Ms. Rehor and Mr. Bartelt will walk/run with the students Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:45-8:05 am. We hope to see many students and parents walking and running with us this spring!
Kids Tae Kwon Do class this Thursday.
Kids TaeKwonDo will be held on Thursday from 3:00-3:45pm in the Blythe Park Gym for all students in K-5th Grade. *Class reservation deadline is Wednesday. You must register by clicking on the Cheddar Up button below to participate.
*PLEASE NOTE – All children must be registered online by clicking on the Cheddar Up button no matter your payment method (cash, check or credit). Payment can be made online or send cash/check to the school office with “Kids Tae Kwon Do” on the envelope and child’s name. (Please make checks payable to Blythe Park PTA.)

The Blythe Park Garden Club for 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade students will have a meeting Wednesday, April 12th from 11:30 – 12:15pm in Mrs. Bryan’s room.
Mrs. Sayre and Mrs. Bryan will help students research flowers and plants for the Blythe Park Prairie Garden. Students will be planning and planting the new garden!
**Remember to bring your lunch.

Our Mixed Bag Designs Fundraiser was a success and we would like to thank everyone who helped us to reach our goal! We raised $2,311 to put towards programs for our children!
Paper orders have been submitted and we anticipate delivery in 3-4 weeks.
Orders can still be placed ONLINE only at www.mixedbagdesigns.com to support our fundraiser!
Blythe will continue to earn 40% profit for online sales that contain our Fundraiser ID# 39596 for Blythe Park School until June 30th, 2017.

Bring out the scientist in your child and be a part of the PTA Science Fair on Thursday, April 27th at 5:45 pm (prior to Open House).

Need to Know Details
- Students will conduct their own science experiment at home OR use the experiment/data they collected during a “Science and a Sandwich” session.
- The student will create a display board at home for the Science Fair.
- Students may work individually or in a group of no more than two students.
- Each student’s display will be setup on a card table in the gym.
- There will be no judging.
- Participation is optional.
- Each student will receive a participation award.
